Too Many Friends???

Can anyone really have too many friends?? I LOVE having lots of friends, I love spending time with them and sharing meals with them, and during the holidays people want to spend MORE time together and just enjoy each other's company, and of course, EAT MORE!!!!!

I haven't stopped eating in weeks and I see no end in sight. EVERY NIGHT there's another dinner invitation, EVERY DAY there's a brunch or a lunch, every weekend there's a party!! People EVERYWHERE are offering me baked goodies and even tamales, already!!! I SWEAR I could FEEL my butt growing!!!

I'm so scared!!! I think I'm going to POP soon.... and the END of the Holiday Season is STILL THREE WHOLE WEEKS AWAY!!!!!!

Another friend invited me to dinner tonight, I graciously declined with every intention of going to the gym... well, the intentions were there!! But then i got home, and... well, it's COLD outside... (ok, maybe not the kind of cold YOU are dealing with, it's 54 degrees out, but STILL!!)

Well, tomorrow night I'll hit the gym for sure!! = ) Oh wait, tomorrow night I'm meeting a friend for coffee!! One can never have too many friends!!

  1. Your life sounds like me. I like my big circle of friends too. I don't know what I'd do without them. It's the holiday season~it's ok to eat. January you can fast & go to the gym. Linda in WA

  2. LOL, Joann you tickle me! Why don't you order an exercise tape and just do it at home for those nights of inclement weather. I'm with you, when its chilly - I'd rather be snuggled down in my comfies and not working up a sweat, lol. Hang in there! And, I'm glad we're friends! God Bless!

  4. I think you just have to enjoy the holidays and worry about it when the New Year begins. I don't know how anyone successfully diets during the Christmas season. 'On Ya'-ma

  6. It was always rough at work when people started bringing holiday goodies in. I was usually too busy to go into the office and nibble, but when I did, I tried to limit it. I just can't eat that many sweets!

  9. Glad your time is filled with great friendships. We are more introverts, and spend most of our time at home with each other :o)

  10. I don't think you can have too many friends and you are lucky to have so many. I don't know that I can name one friend I have in real life. Anyone I consider a friend is someone I've met through blogging. It's just me & the critters, and hubby of course.

I hope you enjoy the holiday season with all of your friends...don't worry about popping. You can work on that after January 1, just have fun.

If you like a lot of friends, then there is nothing wrong with it. *M*

  12. Ugh... tamales... why don't they just call 'em like they should: artery cloggers... Or call them Lay's... because you can't eat just one!

  13. You are obviously blessed with many friends. :-)
I've always been a loner so that hasn't been an issue for me, though I think I wiah it was!

Did you get to the gym the next day? It's to easy to get out of the routine - I know! I NEED to get back. ::sigh::
